  • Senators John McCain and Bob Corker voted against the bipartisan bill to block an arms sale to Saudi Arabia. There reasoning was that The Strait of Hormuz is critical to US interests and the Strait of Hormuz would be threatened if Yemen fell the the Houthis.   • After the collapse of the ceasefire, the Syrian Government is launching a major push to retake Aleppo. This offensive has included support from Russian airstrikes and asking all civilians to leave areas where “anti government forces” are fighting.   • John Kerry makes it clear that US policy is to keep the Syrian Government from bombing Al-Nusra Front, an Al-Qaeda affiliate in Syria. [Link] Syria Fyle
  • SkyPan International is being fined $1.9 million by the FAA. The FAA is yet to release official rules for the drone industry. SkyPan is frustrated with the FAA since they have been fined for breaking rules that are not officially in place. [Link]
