  • The City of Oakland settles with a woman who was suing the city for $66 million because she was sexually involved with several members of the Oakland Police Department. Some of the sexual interactions occurred while the woman was underage. Some of the sexual actions were in exchange for information or protection from police officers. [Link] Police Fyle
  • Turkey carried out airstrikes on PKK targets in Iraq. Six members of the PKK were killed in the strikes. [Link] Turkey Fyle
  • On Tuesday, at least 200 civilians have been killed by airstrikes in Mosul. The airstrikes were carried out by the US-coalition and the Iraqi government. [Link] ISIS War Fyle

  • The US military says it has increased combat power in Syria to possibly fight Assad-allied forces. The US government also dropped leaflets over encampments for Assad-allied troops.
