  • The NSA is eroding American’s internet privacy by using a distorted definition of the word search to justify the spying program on Yahoo’s user’s emails that was exposed earlier this year. The NSA said that because computers scanned the emails before they were read not all emails were searched. [Link] Spying Fyle
  • Russia says that nearly all lines of communication between the US and Russia have been frozen. The US denies these claims and reports there are several diplomatic channels between the US and Russia. [Link] Foreign Policy Fyle
